Here are a few ideas! Although the paper-pieced Sun Rays block is made of only straight pieces, the effect is of a 1/4 circle or a curve, especially if the central "stripe" is a strongly contrasting color. This offers lots of interesting quilt design possibilities, only a few of which are pictured here. All the quilt designs below were created using only the Sun Rays block in different colorations and rotations. How many new designs can you make?
