Right:  This beautiful miniature Circle of Geese quilt was made by my cyber-friend, Alice -- it is only 12" square! Alice reduced my 6" block down to 2", and used a group of hand-dyed fabrics she received in a swap. She calls her quilt "Dizzy Geese".

Below: Two red and green variations of the Poinsettia Star block are set with Flying Geese sashing, and swirling star cornerstones.

Below, left:  Circle of Geese in a 12-step rainbow color gradation.

Below, right: Poinsettia Star, using the same 12-step color gradation for the geese and star points.  Each “goose” is paired a star point in its color complement (i.e. its opposite on the color wheel).  A black background makes the colors pop!
